Actors are magicians, really, just by how they turn their head or blink, they can convey a universe of feeling.  I am NOT an actor, its a whole 'nother skill set, like dance, watching them do their thing is like watching people from another, different, amazing planet.  

Come see acting and dancing and yes, singing (my score, music and lyrics) at Reynolds Theater on the Duke University Campus tues sept 10 thru sun sept 22 - get tix here.

A primer: Tues 9/10 and Weds 9/11 i'll be out of my mind nervous, we'll be making last minute changes and you may see me in the seats somewhere, scribbling on a legal pad, cheering, wincing, or just looking generally intense. By thurs 9/12 the show will be "frozen" - no changes at this point, so I'll be in the seats acting unconcerned even if one of my jokes doesn't land (but THEY ALL WILL!).  Fri 9/13 is opening night, and having been through one in Atlanta years ago (I met Hank Aaron! his hands were immense), it is like watching a spaceship lift off, up close.  Bright, loud, breathtaking.  Nothing like it.  

Sun night 9/15 i'll be doing many of the songs from the show in a special concert in Durham at MotorCo, join me, this will be GREAT BIG FUN.

And yes I'll do a few tunes from the show at Fruitlands, Harvard MA thurs aug 22 (with The Nields & Seth Glier) and Bryn Mawr, sat aug 24 - w/Trina Hamlin and Christine Havrilla .

Meanwhile, thanks everybody for your ongoing support of all my musical endeavors.  I didn't start this career thinking I was a musical theater composer - but I'm really enjoying being one.  There's no people like show people, somebody wrote.  And, it’s absolutely true.
